Geneva Fintech Association (“GFA”) is a nonprofit association based in Geneva, Switzerland.

Geneva Fintech aims to:

Promote the development

of new technologies in the field of Fintech, specifically around Crowdfunding and Distributed Ledger Technology.

Advocate and support

education on these new technologies.

Bring together

many stakeholders in the Fintech ecosystem locally as well as internationally. 

Share

knowledge on practical use cases as well as challenges associated to these new technologies.

EDUCATION

GFA is supporting a better understanding of new technologies in the field of Fintech for stakeholders across various economies in Switzerland and abroad.

COLLABORATION

Crowdfunding platforms are very active in Switzerland and provide a new fundraising model for innovative projects. The Blockchain technology is becoming instrumental in raising capital, servicing projects and in shifting paradigms. GFA aims to bring clients, investors and institutionals together to foster collaboration on these fundamental topics.

DEBATE

Fintech has different meaning for different people. As an early innovative field it carries questions about the economy, ecology or the future. GFA wants to enable thinking, sharing and debating about the opportunities and challenges created by the Blockchain.

ACTIONS

GFA is working on a roadmap of conferences in Geneva.

The agenda for these events will revolve around:

  • Unite companies and institutions
  • Educate and raise awareness
  • Bring together entrepreneurs and investors
